Weekly Wrap-Up 3.1.19

I haven’t been great at keeping up with these posts, but I am going to get back in the swing of things starting with this month! The point of these posts will be to sum up my week in a nutshell (daunting task I know :) ). I’ll be posting these every Friday, and I’m starting a new series on Monday that will be going up every week as well! Hope you enjoy!

One cool thing I’ve learned this week: I learned how to change the motor mounts on my car (with a little guidance from my dad). It’s always very satisfying for me to fix my own car, and this was no exception!

What I’m doing to become a better version of myself: I’ve been extremely stressed the past few months, but especially the last two weeks or so. This week, I started working on some strategies to rein that stress in. I’m focusing on working out regularly, sleeping regularly, and spending a few minutes every day with no distractions to just reflect and better my mental health.

Weekly Wednesday Workshop: Every week, Praxis hosts a video chat with a special guest to talk about ways we can improve ourselves, both professionally and personally. This week the guest was Brent James and he talked about ways to land awesome opportunities and how to crush them once they’ve been landed. For me, it was mostly a refresher but I still got some good stuff out of it! I’ll be making a blog post this week specifically to recap what we talked about during the call, because I think it was some good stuff and don’t want it to get lost in a separate post.
