What I Learned from Reliant: Intro
This series is going to be uploaded every week on Monday for the rest of March, and the purpose will be to showcase what I’ve learned from my time at Reliant Technology. It’s been a rollercoaster of an experience, but I will use this series to both compile my thoughts and highlight my learning experiences.
First of all, a quick summary for those who are unfamiliar with my situation. I was an SDR at Reliant Technology for a total of four months. During that time I became very familiar with a handful of sales software and applications including Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. I had some experience with Salesforce prior to beginning my position at Reliant (part of my self preparation for the role) but I became much more fluent in the program during my time there.
I also became quite adept at crafting emails and conducting cold outreach phone calls that were detailed enough to paint a picture of what we could do to help the recipient, and concise enough that they weren’t immediately turned off by the sheer volume of information (it was a pretty technical field). This part will be covered in more detail in a future installment of this series.

The next part of this series will be posted on Monday, and there will be two more posts on the following Mondays after that. The first post will cover the hard skills I picked up while there. Followed by a post focusing on the soft skills that I already had, but I honed during my apprenticeship. And the final post will focus on the less tangible lessons I learned. So stay tuned for all of them!
