Day 28: New Life Update

I want to start this post off by saying I know this is late. It should have gone up Wednesday, but instead is going up Thursday night (after midnight so the timestamp will probably say Friday). I apologize for that, the past few days have been pretty crazy. We had to get my car out of dealership service department prison, and that was a whole mess by itself. We told them not to fix anything because the quote they gave us was ridiculously high, and they ended up charging us for the "diagnosis" anyway. And it was a pretty expensive diagnosis too.

Aside from that, I also managed to leave the majority of my clean clothes in Rome in the midst of the craziness. Not a huge deal because I have enough clothes for the weekend and I'll be able to get more when I go back to the new house with my dad, but it's still frustrating that I let myself do that. Just like it's frustrating that this blog post is late. But I'm going to take all this in stride and keep moving forward. I won't let it hold me back. Instead, I'm going to continue on despite the challenges. That's what life is all about, right?
